I had my pre-op aptmt today. A little bit of disappointing news... My surgeon is going on vacation towards the end of the month and has no openings until Oct 4th. So my surgery date is Oct 4th. I was hoping for the 20th or 27th of Sept. Oh well, what can I do? just deal w/it. 3 wks and 6 days to go.
Side note: my surgeon told me that he MIGHT have an opening on Monday. Yes, this monday. He will call me Thursday afternoon if the spot opens up. Which is unlikely. So i'm not even gonna get excited about it. Just crossing my fingers.
It just feels like my surgery date will never come. I've been through a lot with this program.. and it just feels so far away. The wait is killing me :( Alrighty... enough of my bitching lol! On with my life I go :P
