Info Session

My 1st step after getting a referral from my PCM. Central Aptmts at Tripler called me on Wednesday, May 19th to come to the info session.

I went to the WLS Info Session at Tripler on Thursday, May 20th. It was from 10:30am-1pm. There was a lot of women. About 25 or so. There was a lot of good information and it makes me want the surgery even more. I will be getting Lap RNY Gastric Bypass Surgery.

Ever since the info session I changed a bunch of my drinking habits. I was drinking only soda's and/or hawaiian juice drinks. I didn't drink just plain water (only on occations). Now I don't drink any of that and only drink water & milk. I have a juice every once in a while when I am out and about. But not often. I'm very proud of myself. I also am changing my foods to more healthy foods. I love eating cereal. I just bought Muti-grain Cherrios. (Which the docs want you to eat instead of the other sugery ones) I love it!!! It's good! The kids love it too. I also changed from 2% milk to 1% milk. The docs also want you to eat a lot of fruits and veggies. So I stocked up on fruits & totally forgot about buying veggies. I have to go and get some :)

Something I found I love and it's good for you is Swanson's Chicken Breast in the can!!! OMG its sooo good!!!

This was my lunch today..

Swanson's Chicken Breast (2oz) Mayo (1/2 TBS): Mixed w/some pepper
Put into 2 slices of bread.

& 4oz of Cantalope.

= 235 Calories, 7 fat, 29 carbs, 13 protien.


It was yummy and good for you! The one thing I need to change is my bread. From white to wheat. Next time I go to the store I will change it :)
